About SnoreLab Reports
One respiratory therapist, five devices, and a refusal to rank anything she has not slept next to.
Dana Whitfield, RRT
Registered respiratory therapist, 14 years in hospital sleep clinics fitting CPAP masks and running overnight studies. She tests every device in this ranking herself before it earns a place.
How we test
Every device in our ranking is used nightly for at least three weeks in a real bedroom, not a lab. We log two things each morning: whether the partner in the bed heard snoring, and how the wearer felt on waking. Devices that get abandoned mid-test are recorded as abandoned — that failure mode matters more than any manufacturer claim.
How we handle numbers
Customer ratings, review counts, and prices for Amazon products are captured directly from the live listings and dated. We never estimate a price or invent a rating. When a product is sold only through its own store and does not publish a figure before checkout, we say so instead of guessing.
How we make money
This site earns affiliate commission when readers buy through our links, including the Amazon Associates program. Commission never changes a ranking; the #1 pick is the device that performed best in testing and the one we recommend to patients in person.
Not medical advice
Everything here is general information. Snoring can be a symptom of obstructive sleep apnea, which needs clinical diagnosis and treatment. If you gasp or stop breathing in your sleep, talk to a physician before buying any over-the-counter device.
